Harvest Weekend 2026

Sunday, September 13th, 2026

Join us at GWEC for our Harvest Weekend.

Starting with a Harvest Social on Saturday the 26th September where, along with some entertainment, you will be able to enjoy a delicious meal and a scrumptious desert.

Then join us on Sunday for our Harvest services at 10:30am and 6:00pm where we will give thanks to God for all the gifts from the earth he has given us.

We will also be collecting for local homeless charity HARP so please bring along any of the following:

  • Coffee
  • Sugar
  • Pot Noodles/Super Noodles
  • Tinned meals; Curry, Chilli
  • Breakfast cereal
  • Squash
  • Cooking Sauces
  • Fray Bentos Meat Pies and Puddings
  • Cooking Oil
  • Tinned Pasta; Ravioli
  • Macaroni
  • Tinned New Potatoes
  • Tinned Soup

Bible Study & Prayer Meeting

We are currently working through a series of studies. Some Tuesdays there will be discussions on various issues affecting the church today or a DVD to watch and discuss.

We include a time of prayer at these meetings as well as a cup of tea and a cake. Everyone is very welcome to join us.
